Burmese black mountain tortoise

The Burmese black mountain tortoise (Manouria emys phayrei), also known as the Asian giant tortoise, is one of the largest and most primitive living tortoise species. It is native to the highland tropical forests of Southeast Asia and is classified as Endangered by the IUCN.
